Jan, I only met David a few times and that was 40 years ago. Your beautiful tribute to a life well lived describes a flame that shone bright; a vibrant soul that gave much to others. Reminds me of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may you find some comfort in those who remain (including the pups) to help you bear the pain of loss.
