Condolences

Condolence From: Valerie Davidson Levy
Condolence: Barbara was a "hero" to me: the kind of woman one wishes to be "when I grow up". Her sense of humor, spirit, and optimism were an inspiration, AND she taught me to make bread. She was beautiful, wise, loving and loyal. With her passing, a bright light has gone out. Sincere and loving condolences to the whole family. Her memory is truly a blessing.

Condolence: Sending all best to Jane and Peter and everyone who loved Barbara. "Babs" and "Randy" were an aunt and uncle to the Oslers, and we shared many laughs, holidays and great meals together. She was an amazing and loving spirit in my life and I will always remember her fondly.

Condolence From: Jon Carlisle
Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Barbara's passing, and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family. My grandfather, George, valued her companionship toward the end of his life, and I'll never forget her drawing an alligance with my red-headed daughter when she confided in her that she was called a "red-headed woodpecker" in grade school. A small story, but one that we all (particularly my daughter) values to this day. May she rest in peace, and we'll remember her very, very fondly during our next visit to church and well beyond.

Condolence: I just heard about Barbara's passing from my brother Jay. What a wonderful light she was in the lives of my parents, my siblings, and me! "Randy and Babs" (I can see Barbara rolling her eyes now) were key to so many family holidays and celebrations. I'm remembering the ice cream freezer they would bring to our place in Hancock on the Fourth of July. And I still use the pretty casserole dish Barbara gave me when I graduated college nearly 40 years ago. So much laughter and so many happy times. Sending love to the whole family.

Condolence From: Frank & Barbara Bishop
Condolence: Please accept our condolences on the passing of your mother (and belatedly) your son David as well.

Obviously, she lived a long and wonderful life.

Mom died in 2010 at the age of 95 and Barb's mother is alive and well (non-assisted living in Falmouth) at age 98.
