The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jessie Baig can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Our sincerest sympathy to the family in the passing of a lovely lady. Many of us in Calais remember Jessie as one of the ladies at the Merrill Trust Bank. Her work is now finished and she may rest in peace with her loving husband, Burt. May God Bless them both.

Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of Jessie. She was a terrific lady. As a child in Calais I knew her as the lady at Merrill Trust who deposited my paper route money in a savings account. Later, as an adult I had the honor and pleasure to work with her at the bank. She and Burt were neighbors just up Calais Avenue. They were a class act. They are both missed.
