Obituary for Earl Edward Gary, Sr.
Earl Edward Gary, Sr., 86, husband of 62 years to the late Jeanette (Gren) Gary, died October 21, 2013 at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Bangor, June 22, 1927 son of Luther I. and Avis Gary.
Earl retired from Pinecrest School Bus Service. Earl and Jeanette enjoyed traveling extensively in their retirement. They made many friends all over the country.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Gary, and Earl Gary, Jr. a daughter, Christine Hodgman and her husband Stuart; four grandchildren, Patrick Bouchard and his wife Robin, Wayne Bouchard and his wife Karen, Jennifer Damon and her husband Eric, Earl Gary, III; many great grandchildren; several great, great grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Willey, several nieces and nephews, many close family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Thursday October 24, 2013 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor, where relatives and friends are welcome to call 11 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
