Peter is survived by his sons, Steven and his wife Reina, Brent and his wife Barb; sisters, Pat Melvin of Belfast, Polly and her husband Richie Rittlinger of Kansas; grandsons, Peter and fiancée Jenn MacNab of Rhode Island, and Paul of Hampden; Step-grandchildren, Danny and Katie; step-great-grandchildren, McKayla, Brayden, Brantley and Braxton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Peter’s request services will be private. A burial will take place at Knowlton Cemetery in Newburgh at a later date, where Peter will be laid rest along with his first wife, Shirley, and his son, Keith.
