Obituary for Karen Jean Dunn

Karen Jean  Dunn
Karen Jean Dunn, 67, passed away June 23rd, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in Maryland from complications resulting from a long battle with kidney disease. Karen was born September 26, 1950, to Eugene and Sarah (Betty) Kelsey.
She is survived by her son Erik, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Alyssa and Alexander, all of Street, Maryland. She is also survived by her seven siblings, Marie Hancock, Sylvia Oxley, Beverly Twitchell, Carl Kelsey, Paula Burkholder, Carol Bolduc and Tracy Ronan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Karen most recently worked at Affiliated Laboratories, Inc. in the billing department but has been retired for the last three years. In retirement Karen enjoyed watching her granddaughter ride horses and her grandson compete in sports. She loved watching her soap operas and Judge Judy and recently started learning how to make jewelry. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 30 at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. A celebration of Karen’s life will commence immediately following the service at City Side Restaurant, 393 N. Main Street, Brewer. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
