Sandra J.  Whittington
Sandra Joyce Whittington, 78, passed away peacefully April 7, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Bangor, October3, 1939 the daughter of Alvin and Leone (Hammond) Robertson. Sandra was a devoted wife and mother who truly believed in God and the teachings of Jesus Christ and raised her children in God’s ways. She lived her life for Jesus and her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Whittington, sisters, Cathy Gilman and Lynn Smith and a brother, Ron Robertson. Surviving are her five children, Robin Dufour, Michael Whittington, Gary Whittington and his wife, Eron, Traci Tracy and Kevin Whittington; twelve grandchildren, Mandi, Shauna, Thomas, Gary Lee and his fiancé Tracy, Cassandra, Kayla, Lyndsi, Eric, Mikey, Dylan, Christopher and Paula; fourteen great grandchildren, Grace, Landon, Kayleigh, Nora, Aaleyah Kaycie, Gabby, Jonathan, Aiden, Harper, Abigail, Nora-Reed, Jordan and Ryan; brother, Bob Robertson; sister, Dolores Blanchard. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Carmel Full Gospel Church of Restoration, 965 Main Rd., Carmel. Relatives and friends are invited to call noon until time of service. Burial will be held later in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn.
