Kathy Lynn Gomm, 57, passed away unexpectedly March 31, 2018, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 20, 1960, in Stafford Springs, Conn, the daughter of Robert and Rita (Carleton) Luce.

After moving from Connecticut, Kathy graduated from Bangor High School in the Class of 1978. On June 5, 1983, she married Steve Gomm and they had two wonderful children together. Kathy’s most recent employment was at the Elizabeth Levinson Center where she enjoyed all the kids. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, reading and more recently antiquing with her husband.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Steven Gomm; two children, Chad Gomm and Emily Speid, all of Orrington; siblings, Renee’, Wendy and husband Keith, Brian, Kevin and wife Janet. She was also known as “Meowiee” from Paige and Raven who she loved dearly and had a special bond with. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Luce Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Kandra.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM, Fri, April 6, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where funeral services will be held 11 AM, Sat, April 7. Interment will be later in the spring at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. Gifts in Kathy’s memory may be made to the Elizabeth Levinson Center, c/o UCP of Maine, 700 Mt.
