Obituary for Debra Joan LaHaye (Reid)

BANGOR – Debra J. LaHaye, 64, died peacefully at home, April 1, 2018. She was born August 20, 1953, in Bangor, the daughter of LeRoy and Reta (Jenkins) Reid.

Debra attended schools in the Bangor area. She worked in the shoe manufacturing industry for many years. Debra was happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her Wednesday nights that she shared with the girls.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Darrell “Tunky” Moores, her second husband, Arthur “Stormy” LaHaye; a brother, Daniel Reid; and a brother-in-law, Brian M. Flanders. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Scripture; a son, Judd Moores and wife, Angelia; grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Parker, and Brycen; sisters, Susan Henry and husband, Bill, Judith Flanders and fiancé, Frank Robinson Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held 5-7 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, where relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments.
