Etna - Gail Moore, 60, died peacefully March 30, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, with her family by her side. She was born November 28, 1957 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Carol (Fox) Hansen and Roger Moore.

Gail worked for the Federal Government in the U.S Postal Service for 38 years, retiring as the Post Master of Etna, Maine in 2013. Gail loved spending time with Steve, whether it was at their home in Etna, fishing, or just riding the side by side together. She enjoyed playing pool, dancing with her friends at the Eagles Club, traveling, any outdoor activity, but mostly getting together with family and friends.

Gail is survived by her companion of 20 years, Steve Gould of Etna; two sisters, Sharon Moore of Rock Hill, SC, and Paula Fiedler and her husband, Richard of Trabuco Canyon, CA; brother, Scott Moore and his wife, Tonya of Bolingbrook, IL; nieces, nephews, Stephen’s extended family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a step-sister, Ramona Haberkorn.

A memorial reception to celebrate Gail’s life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Those wishing to remember Gail in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the American Lung Association of Maine, 122 State Street Augusta, Maine 04330.
