Condolence: I attended Union street Junior high school and Mr Amsden was my principal.What a kind and patient man he was. I also am a lifelong member of Hammond Street Congo gregarious Church. My mother Marie Langway was the nursery school Sunday school teacher for many years. I was always so happy to see Mr. Amsden at church rather then the principals office.He was always so patient with all of us. He was truly a good man. I am so sorry for you families loss.

Condolence From: Don Spencer
Condolence: It was over 25 yrs. ago that Perry and Marilyn brought me down to sit with them at HSCC. I have remained his Pew Partner for all those years and will miss him so. We chatted about being educators and administrators, the good times times and the hard times in this line of work:) Oh the stories this man could tell. Perry was a mentor to many and I was fortunate to be one.. My deepest sympathy to Becky ( I hope you don't mind me being your pew partner now) and family for your loss. Rest well my friend and know your memories will never be forgotten.
