Condolence: Marvin and I were both boarding students at MCI. Though we have not been in touch since graduation, I remember him well as a caring, good-humored classmate, one of several MCI boarding students from Bangor who helped me better understand the Jewish faith, of which at the time I was very naive. From the obituary, it is clear that he led an outstanding life. My deep condolences to his family. Rest in peace.

Condolence: My heart was so heavy with grief to learn of your passing today. When I was in my 20's I was in a car accident and my family reached out to Marvin to be my lawyer. Yet he wasn't just a lawyer he was a passionate and caring person. I couldn't thank him enough for his work. My condolences and prayers go out to all his family and friends. There are few people who leave a mark in his world and Marvin did just that! Sincerely Christine Downing and family.

Condolence: Marvin, working with and for you was a true pleasure. You always knew how to turn a frown upside down to make a person smile. You made such a difference in so many lives, including my own when I needed help. The legal community will have a very large hole left in it. You were so kind, professional and generous. Always willing to lend an ear when needed and always coming to someone's rescue in good times and bad. You will be missed greatly and I will never forget the inevitable question at VBK, "Where's MG? Do you know what time he'll be back?" Finally you may rest in peace, my friend. I'll never forget you. Sending prayers and love to Sherie and the girls and the entire VBK family past and present.

Condolence: I moved to Bangor in 2013 and lived there for 3 1/2 years. While I did not get a chance to know Marvin on a personal level, he was always a cheerful, welcoming presence at Congregation Beth Israel, quick to offer assistance and a smile to me and my family. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, much too soon, and my warm thoughts of him are with his family at this sad time.

Condolence From: Lori Brown
Condolence: Sheri, Amy, Lori, Jill, my deepest condolences to you and your families. The law community has lost one of the greatest attorneys, but most of all, a great man. There is so much to say about MG. The most I remember about MG was how much he was respected by all the courts employees and how much he got away by schmoozing the clerks to get what he needed filed and signed by the Judges on the same day. I will miss seeing him from time to time at the courthouse. RIP Marvin "MG".
