Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cornelia Russell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Clint Gordon
Condolence: Mrs. Russell. That's how I knew her when I was in 3rd grade. She changed my life through her love and devotion to getting to know each and every one of us in her small class. Her ability to listen and translate what she heard into alternative approaches or simply understanding what we were trying to say opened me up in ways no other person could have. I have kept in contact with through the years, not nearly enough, to show her that her efforts were not lost. I was lucky enough to introduce her to my now 21 year old son. She immediately engaged him in conversation, bringing me back to the days that I was the one being engaged. Priceless.

I miss you Mrs. Russell. Thank you. I would not be who I am today without you. I would not have what I have without you. You changed my life for the better. I love you.

Condolence: To the children and grandchildren of Connie, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I met Connie 40 years ago at the Tomlinson's home. Connie was a constant support to Bob and MaryStu Tomlinson through the years. She also was always asking about our children, especially Laura and she always commented on Laura's long, curly hair. I have continued to see Connie frequently at fundraisers at St. Joseph Hospital. What a wonderful support she was to her family, friends and community. We will miss her. Bangor has lost a Great Lady!
