Frankfort - Kathie L. Legassie - Ginn, 62, died unexpectedly, July 20, 2017, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born March 3, 1955, in Bangor, the daughter of Donald Smith Sr. and Marjorie (Lacrosse) McFarland. Kathie has worked at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor for the past 8 years. She enjoyed Goodwill shopping, cake decorating, and quilt making, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathie will be taking her Dog Lady-Bird Ginn to Heaven with her. Kathie was a kind, loving, and generous person who worked hard, and loved taking care of others. In addition to her parents, Kathie was predeceased by her brother, Donald Smith Jr. She is survived by her husband Andy Ginn of Frankfort; son, Robert Legassie Jr., of Winterport; daughter, Mandi Thibodeau and her husband, Patrick, of Winterport; six grandchildren, Kyle Grant of Stockton Springs, Kody Grant of Winterport, Harmony Legassie of Bangor, Bryson Legassie of Stetson, and Alyissa and Miranda Thibodeau of Winterport; A special young man, Anthony Fowler and his wife Tabby of Monmouth; four sisters, five brothers, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
