Obituary for Frank Calvin Morgan

Frank Calvin  Morgan
BREWER and BANGOR – Frank C. Morgan, 82, died March 17, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. He was born October 25, 1934 in West Pembroke, the son of Thomas W. and Margaret (Garland) Morgan.

Frank was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from High School and Husson College with a degree in Accounting, class of 1958. Frank served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked for the IRS for 39 years. Frank was a member of the Bangor Jaycees, The Ralph J. Pollard Lodge #217, AF & AM of Orrington and Anah Shriners. He enjoyed the family camp at Beech Hill, fishing and golfing with his friends.

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by sisters, Rita Morrison, Louise Morgan, brothers, Delman and William. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Judith of Brewer, sons, John and his wife, Annalee of Brookline, NH and James and Jennifer of Holden; grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Glen, and Mike; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Allen and her husband, Arthur of Brewer and Jane Morgan of Pembroke; brother-in-law, Wayne Treagy of Hampden; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, May 12, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, with the Rev. Canon Marguerite A.H. Steadman, rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Bangor, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, immediately following the service. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
