Kenneth Boyd  Johnson
Hampden – Kenneth B. Johnson, 57, died unexpectedly July 21, 2015. He was born July 8, 1958, in Waterville, the son of Winfield and Athabelle (Tibbetts) Johnson.

Ken graduated from Cony High School class of 1976, and later received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine. He was a medical technologist, working at Dahl-Chase as well as Eastern Maine Medical Center. Ken loved being outdoors, especially spending time in the woods. He also enjoyed carpentry and playing his guitar.

Ken is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marie; a son Ryan Johnson and a daughter Erin Johnson; his father, Winfield Johnson; a sister Cheryl Johnson and fiancée John; a brother John Runyon and wife Angel, and a brother David Runyon and wife Beth; a special Aunt, Marilyn, and Uncle, Everett; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother; his step-mother, Ruth Ann Johnson; and step-father Wendell Runyon.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Ken will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held at 2PM that afternoon at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com
