Obituary for Donald LeRoy Everett

Donald LeRoy Everett Sr., 65, passed away July 14, 2015, at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. He was born April 6, 1950, in Fort Fairfield the son of Gordon D. and Clara V. (Langley) Everett.

Don served his country honorably in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He did some hunting and fishing but mostly enjoyed watching his western movies.

He is survived by the love of his life, and wife of 31 years, Miss Pamela; three children, Shelli Good and husband Larry of Mapleton, Donald LeRoy Everett Jr. “Sam” of Bangor, Kitty Ann Stevens and husband Edmund of Swanville; grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Austin, Dalton, and Jacob; siblings, Carl Langley of Fort Fairfield, Joyce Lorenze of Florida, Phyllis Cox of Orrington, Elsie Bailey of New York, Margaret Norton of Florida, Gordon Everett Jr. of Florida, Gene Everett of Washburn, Gerald Everett of Florida. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by siblings, Edna, Leona, Allan, Norma, and Harold.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 AM, Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Maine Veterans Home, 4 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
