Obituary for Yvon Bouchard

Yvon  Bouchard
Bangor – Yvon Bouchard, 95, passed away unexpectedly June 28, 2015 at his home in Bangor. He was born October 18, 1919 in St. Francois, NB, Canada, the son of Stanislas and Euphemie (Sylvan) Bouchard.

Yvon was a mason by trade and well known for his work ethic, which he instilled in all of his children. He also was a devoted Catholic. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish – St. Teresa’s in Brewer.

He will be greatly missed by his 4 sons, Guy and wife Kathy, Gilman and wife Martha of Orrington, Donald of Old Orchard Beach, and Nelson and wife Charlene of Rockville, CT; a daughter Joy and husband Pete of Sanford, FL; a stepdaughter Rose Frey of Bangor; his brother O’Neill of Massachusetts; his sister Stella (Bouchard) Doyon of Winterport; 15 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Yvon was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He was also predeceased by his 3 wives, Rita (Ducas) Bouchard, the mother of his children; Victoria (Torrey) Bouchard; and Wilma (Coates) Bouchard.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 PM Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 So. Main St., Brewer. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 440 So. Main St., Brewer Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment will be private for the family. Following the Funeral Mass relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments across the street at the Parish Hall.
