Obituary for Alfred John Aptt

Alfred John “Bud” Aptt, 67, of Bradford, passed away December 15, 2014 in Levant. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine, and was born in Attleboro, MA, son of the late William and Beverly Aptt.
Bud was employed as an automotive technician, a long-haul truck driver who traveled all over the country with his beloved wife. Most recently, he was employed with Dead River Truck, Co. as a transporter until his retirement. His happiest moments were spent with his loving family camping, four wheeling, and tinkering, always with a great joke and a big smile.
In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his children, Nila Ray and husband, Michael of Bangor, Patricia Miller and husband, Lincoln of Marion, MA, Michael Aptt and wife, Diane of North Attleboro, MA, and Mark Aptt and wife, Debbie of Orrington; his 10 beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Kyle, Elizabeth, Matthew, Chelsey, Abigail, Andrew, Michaela, Gracie and Thomas; and his great grandson, Maddox.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM, Friday, December 19, 2014, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York Street, Bangor. Following the Funeral Mass, relatives and friends are invited to share in conversation and refreshments in the Parish Hall of St. John’s Catholic Church.
