Ronald Lyle  Kenney
Bangor – Ronald Lyle Kenney, 80, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was born in Bangor June 7, 1934 the son of Lyle and Ladore (Hunt) Kenney.

Ron grew up in Brewer, graduating from Brewer High School, class of 1952. Ron was a brick mason who took tremendous pride in his work. When he wasn’t working Ron loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching various sporting events on TV, but was especially passionate about all the professional New England Sports teams. He was a University of Maine sports fan and enjoyed taking his great grandson Michael to those events.

In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his brothers Rodney and Gerald. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Madeline; 3 daughters Deborah Green, Karen Mathews and husband Bruce, and Constance Gilbert; a son Randy Kenney and wife Susan; 4 grandchildren Nicole, Erica, Amanda and Ashley; great grandchildren Michael and Megan; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center, St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday, November 26. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the service. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
