Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rodney Kenney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Eddington - Rodney J. Kenney, 79, died April 6, 2014. He was born June 8, 1934 in Bangor the son of Lyle and Ladore (Hunt) Kenney. From the age of 3 Rodney was raised by his mother Mary Kenney after the passing of Ladore. Rodney served in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and especially fishing with his twin brother Ronald on their annual trip to Moosehead Lake which they took for over 30 years. He is survived by his brothers Ronald Kenney and his wife Madeline of Bangor; Richard Kenney and his wife Sondra of Fl, and Jerald Kenney and his wife Robin of Fl; nieces Michelle and her husband Corey Richardson of Turner, Deborah Green of Bangor, Karen Mathews of Cherryfield, and Constance Gilbert of CA; nephews Timothy Kenney and his wife Doreen, Mark Kenney and his wife Karen, and Randy Kenney and his wife Susan all of Orrington; good friends and special cousins Robert Adams and his wife Judy of Brewer, and Jody and her husband Steve Turner of Holden. Friends may call from 6-8pm Friday April 11, 2014 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center St., Bangor where funeral services will be held 3:00PM Saturday April 12, 2014 with Military Honors. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith 159 Center St., Bangor following the service.
